Tour Plan

Arrival at Zanzibar airport/Ferry, meet with our representative and then transfer to the Hotel for check in. And take a nap for three two or three hours then our representative will come to pick you and do Zanzibar by night tour.

This is three hours tour, its starts from 0600hrs to 1000hrs. The guest may do this tour in club or cocktails party after having their dinner at any stone town best restaurant or Forodhani Park if they will be interested.

Enjoying the night in stone town at club with live playing band and karaoke or live traditional Taarab (Zanzibar Arabic music taste) enjoying the Zanzibar at night. Then the guide will take the guest back to the hotel for rest and prepare for tomorrow tour.

The Night Market perhaps best represents Zanzibar’s wonderful amalgamation of cultures and cuisines.

After sunset, this quiet corner of Stone Town is almost unrecognizable. The once calm Sea walk is rapidly filled with chefs, clad in white hats, setting up gas lamps, grills and rotisseries, spreading out their wares across rows of tables. The Night Market is a culinary playground for all—visitors and locals pour in, families gather with small children, and of course, the tenacious stray cats hunker down and wait for scraps. The chefs are a blur of motion, excitedly pointing to their culinary creations, cooing and coaxing until even the most hesitant eater gives in to their expertly spun sales pitches.

Spice Tour

Spices from Zanzibar are famous around the world and holiday to Zanzibar would be incomplete without a visit to the spice plantations. Tour guides will take you on a walking tour of the spice farms at Kizimbani or Kidichi; picking bunches of leaves, fruits and twigs from bushed and inviting you to smell or taste them to guess what they are.

Visit the Kizimbani Village – The tour starts from 0830hrs and it takes 2 to 3 hours depending on the activities to be done. You will be overwhelmed by the abundance of botanical species growing in these gardens – exotic species, fruits and vegetables. Many of the species have medicinal properties and are still used by the local population to cure certain maladies. Taste a variety of fruits ranging from rose apple to the guava. Some rare plants like henna, perfume tree and lipstick tree are used for their value in preparing cosmetics. Pretty much all the ingredients of the average kitchen spice rack are represented – Cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, turmeric, garlic, ginger, chillies, black pepper, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, lemon grass,  to mention just a few.

Let’s Go Cooking Tour

We will be having cooking stuffs taken from farms and all spices taken from Spice farms where spice tour is done; without forgetting or fresh fish bought from the local fish market, the cooking class begins, the menu will be either Spice rice, Pilau rice, with octopus curry, fish curry, sea food Barbecue, Fruits and Vegetable Salad, after late lunch then we go back to the hotel.

After the adventure we take you to KIWENGWA CAVE.

Kiwengwa Cave

These caves are a part of ancient history of the Zanzibar Island; it was discover in 2002 by a young boy who lost his goat. However years ago the locals would visit the caves to worship their ancestors, bringing gifts to the holy stones. The stalagmites and stalactites have formed from water dissolving calcium carbonate from coral stones also the naturally formed holes in the ceiling of the caves let sunlight in, creating an exciting atmosphere (cool weather and some sounds). Another curious feature is the roots that have forced their way through the ground and look like electric wires connecting the ceiling to the bottom of the cave. You will be provided with a torch for flashlights as the caves extend deep into the rock. This tour takes 30- 40 minutes to be done.

The stone town tour, the city tour, takes you around the capital town to experience historically, culturally and architecturally richness of Zanzibar Islands. The tour takes 2 to 3 hours depend on the places to be visited. Most of the important buildings and places (historical monuments) are within the town’s municipal environs such as Anglican Cathedral built on the former slave market, the house of the famous slave trader (Tip Tip house), Hamamni Bath, Darajani market (fish and fruits market), the Old Portuguese Fort, the house of wonders (Zanzibar National Museum of History & Culture) and the home of world famous musician, Freddy Mercury. The guide will also show you the beautiful pattern of Zanzibar door and on the way; you will have a chance to walk around the narrow streets of Stone Town where most of the houses date back more than 150 years. We offer this tour for half day then we take you to the airport for departure.
